Heinz Essmann

Heinz Essmann

Heinz is a perpetual student and learner, having spent much of the last 9 years understanding how companies are built, run and renewed to thrive. Formal learning and research has focused on how organisations radically build, improve and renew themselves through innovation.

Practically, Heinz has more than 5 years of experience in deploying a variety of tools and methods for business building, improvement and renewal as a researcher, business engineering and programme manager at Indutech. Clients range from new and small companies, new spin-off units focussed on innovation, to large corporates and parastals. He occasionally lectures to final year Industrial Engineering students at Stellenbosch University on the topics of Innovation Management and Enterprise Engineering.

Believing strongly in a balanced life style, spending time with family, friends and in the outdoors – whether relaxing or partaking in some or other adventure sport – takes up Heinz’s spare time.

Investment management

Offering clients investment advice and management services on their investment portfolios
Creating tailored investment plans / portfolio for specified goals
Turing saving ideas into flourishing investment growth
Re-structuring monthly cash flow models but optimizing the full potential of an investment portfolio

Financial Risk Management

Mariska du Preez

Mariska is owner of *mdp marketing, a marketing consultancy that specialises in marketing, design and publicity.

Her other job is Marketing Officer for Indutech. Indutech is a business engineering company focused on innovation development for competitive advantage.

After hours her energy goes into Van Pepper Wines and the Stellenbosch Young Professionals Network. Van Pepper Wines was created and started by herself and two partners; the company ultimately encompasses her passion of events and wine. Women of Wines is an extension of Van Pepper and is a wine club for women in the Cape Town area.

The Stellenbosch Young Professionals Network (SYPN) is a group for 20-35 year old professionals living and/or working in Stellenbosch. This forum was founded and is chaired by me. SYPN members have a get together once a month to network, socialise and share ideas. The objective of the SYPN is to connect people, create a platform where great business contacts can be made, and develop the skills and expertise of its members.
